About Heidi

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I began working at an adult acute psychiatric facility. I then worked in residential, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization eating disorder programs for adolescents and adults, which is one of my main areas of interest. I've also worked with a substance abuse/addiction program which consisted of all levels of care from detox to partial hospitalization. My most recent work experience was with a group practice. I work with adolescents starting at 12 years, and I work with adults up to 65 years old. My experience consists, but is not limited to, clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, self-esteem, substance abuse, and struggles adjusting to difficult life changes. I also have extensive experience with eating disorders. However, I use an eclectic approach, as every client is unique. Life is never always easy, and it can be difficult to want seek help. As long as you keep trying, there's still hope.
